E42 – The “Green Bullet”: Providing Scalable, Customizable, and Immediate Solutions for Enhanced Well-Being

Effective aging environments must rely on innovative planning and design that provides solutions to enhance the human experience and well-being. Therapeutic horticulture can be incorporated into a senior living environment in partnership with beautiful, engaging, and forward-thinking garden spaces.
This session casts a vision for a low-cost capital investment that can inspire operational excellence and boost community happiness with meaningful programming and proven results. Presenters will share case study models for the design of gardens and their corresponding programs that foster inter-generational relationships, demonstrate creative ways to grow amazing food and flowers on-site, and offer respite to residents, staff, and families.
