Janis Kent, Stepping Thru Accessibility principal, and Certified Access Specialist Institute Founder, has presented on many Accessibility topics at numerous venues: from Dwell On Design in LA, to Design DC in Washington; National ADA Symposium in Texas, Georgia, and upcoming in Arizona; and National AIA Conventions in Boston, NYC, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago, New Orleans, Orlando, and Las Vegas. Her recent book, published by Wiley, "ADA in Details: Interpreting the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design" published in 2017, with the 2nd edition in 2023, expanded/updated to include 2022 CBC, 2021 IBC, and 2017 ICC A117.1, all integrated and color-coded.
