Nicole is responsible for over 150 renovation projects per year, implementing resident-centered environments and staying current with industry trends and expectations. She has a passion for helping improve the lives of others and is thrilled to bring that value to work every day. Nicole lives in Virginia with her husband, daughter, and three lively dogs.

The community's culture is deeply rooted in Quaker values, integrity, simplicity, and community. The Quakers have a long history of participation and consensus. The Quadrangle thrives under the leadership of an involved and dedicated Resident Association. Sharing feedback from residents, operations, ownership, and showing examples of design evolution, we will illustrate how roadblocks were turned into opportunities to build trust. Highlights will include how the community's unique sense of place was recognized as a differentiator to be enhanced. Valuable insights questions that should have been asked sooner, operational flexibility, resident involvement, and the constraints of tight timelines, an existing structure, and local zoning authorities will be addressed. We will share how specific design improvements; new amenities, open flexible spaces, natural light, faux lighting, biophilic design, and landscape upgrades generated excitement, improved resident wellbeing, and overcame resistance to change.
